Facing Ourselves

Facing Ourselves

Greetings, Dear Dreamer.
I'm holding you all in my mind and heart in this blog post, and am envisioning what a peaceful world could look like.
With ending the astrological season of Libra and moving into Scorpio season today, I'm trying to remember my lessons of harmony as we enter a time of more intensity, passion, and transformation.
*
I look forward to celebrating this season with Halloween and Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), and also hold heartbroken, heavy feelings with the atrocities taking place in Palestine and Israel.
The media coverage, government responses, the denial of Palestinian genocide, and everything that has risen up from these senseless killings of so many people has been nothing short of sad.
*
We are facing ourselves: seeing division, going through intense times, and we will not be the same people anymore.
I encourage you to talk to your neighbors, loved ones, write or call your local Congress person, or donate to/share organizations who can help.
This is also a resource I've used to keep track of the war: Tracker
*
When I celebrate my past loved ones, I will also mourn the thousands of lives, the multiple families, children, and bright souls who were wiped out. I will celebrate what they could have been.
I urge you as well to shine your light, take care of yourself, don't forget your joys, share your gifts, and help create the positive change we so need in this world.
I will do so through my voice and power, my art, and being myself.

I'm coming home!
I'm so excited to share that this weekend, I will be back in Fort Bragg, California - my hometown - vending there for the first time!
I will be participating in a Día de los Muertos event, and am excited to bring my offerings to the community that raised me.
I was born and raised in the area, and really owe my community a lot for the person I am today. I'm so excited to co-create a magical evening.
If you are in the Fort Bragg/Mendocino coast area this Saturday, please come by the Larry Spring museum! I would love to see you, and will have special deals and goodies for guests.

Be well, and see you soon. - Amber
