These mandala paintings came out just over a year ago as a big stepping stone in my evolution. I had started DDD in late 2021, and these outlines came in to push me further along in my art journey.

I had thrifted those 4 wooden plates randomly one day at one of my favorite stops - EcoThrift in Berkeley, CA - and didn't know what I would do with them until I did.
*
The joy I once had with art in my childhood went away (and I wouldn't be surprised if it's not the last time it happens. Everything is in waves right?) so to have gone through a pause period in my art and feel so disconnected left me broken.

Then, to be rebuilding my foundations and finding pure joy again in my art - even sharing it now like in this small business - I am humbled, honored, and grateful.I am fueled once more to flow and grow.

Each mandala presented me with a valuable lesson in my journey, and I hope that folks enjoy the beauty of these meditations.
🌺 Bloom 🌸: The seed of change is planted, nurtured, and I begin to Bloom. I become anew, start over, grow, and remember the beauty and joy of my journey.
🧡 Lucky Love 🍀: I remember how lucky I am to be here. Every day is a new chance to try again. I love myself, accept myself, and enjoy expressing myself.
✨ Empower⚡ : I gain confidence. I become Empowered by my journey and what I stand for. I grow certain of who I am and embrace all that I am.
💙Cool Dream 🌬️: I've crossed to the other side as I finish these artworks, have been pursuing my dreams, and feel like I'm in a Cool Dream. I enjoy my art practice, and know I can create anything I set my mind to.

I'm grateful for all that these artworks have given and taught me. They pushed my to my core and opened me up. I truly look forward to what will come next now that this door is closing. It's bittersweet, and I will cherish this body of work forever.
